The Scientific Committee of the ISSHAC-12 International Symposium invites submission of abstracts to two special sessions, with a focus on catalytic applications for a greener future, particularly within the scope of the following thematic areas:
Novel Catalytic Methods and Materials for Water, Air, and Soil Purification (SpSinCAT-1)
Committee for Novel Catalytic Methods and Materials for Water, Air, and Soil Purification:
Prof. Juan Carlos Colmenares (Institute of Physical Chemistry, POLAND)
Ass. Prof. Dimitrios Giannakoudakis (Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, POLAND)
Prof. Janusz Ryczkowski (Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, POLAND)
Prof. ing. Kamila Koci (Technical University of Ostrava, CZECH REPUBLIC)
Special Session Co-organizers:

Green (Photo)catalysis for a Sustainable Future (SpSinCAT-2)
Committee for Green (Photo)catalysis for a Sustainable Future:
Ass. Prof. Dimitrios Giannakoudakis (Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, POLAND)
Prof. Juan Carlos Colmenares (Institute of Physical Chemistry in Warsaw, POLAND)
Ass. Prof. Bozena Czech (Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, POLAND)
Prof. Ioannis Lykakis (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, GREECE)
Special Session Co-organizers:

There is no extra fee for the participation in one or two special sessions as the participation is included by the general registration to the ISSHAC Symposium. When registering, please mark the option that you want to attend one or two special sessions. There is still a limit of two abstracts per registered participant, i.e. when registering for the conference, you can submit one abstract to each special session for the same registration fee, or submit one abstract for general ISSHAC conference and one abstract for one of the special sessions. Of course you can participate freely in both sessions even without sending an abstract.

After the conference, the accepted contributions can be submitted either to the special issue “Advanced Green oriented Catalytic Technologies and Materials towards Sustainability” at the Molecular catalysis (https://www.sciencedirect.com/special-issue/102Q0946VX8); they can also be considered by the Organizers to be published in the Special issue of ChemPhysChem journal (https://chemistry-europe.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/journal/14397641)
